Trahan 2011 Pinot Noir – Carneros

Description

Aged for 24 months in French oak barrels, this Pinot Noir has beautiful aromatics of ripe berries and cherry with warm spice nuts. On the palate, bright bramble berries and ripe cherry with nutmeg dominate with a 2nd layering of caramel and hints of vanilla and smoke, firm acid and moderate tannins. Perfect for grilled salmon and poultry, roasted poultry, pork and root vegetables.
